ok, that’s what I don’t get. Why not convert the images to gif or jpeg format, stick them in a movie clip, and then decrease the alpha? I know it’s not going to make a really nice blend effect like using pngs, but it’s a cheaper option.
But then again, I’d have to check out your footer again, I remember what it looked like, but not exactly.

When you submit your image there is a <B>Category/Section</B> that says <B>Designs->deviantID</B>

Submit your image as that.

Now go into your settings, and under <B>deviantID</B> there will be a drop down box of all images you submitted as deviantID images.

It doesn’t produce the same effect because some of my images had solid areas and blurred out/faded edges. So if I were to just convert this to a .gif file, those partially transparent areas will have a background color to them, which when lowered the alpha just looks funny anyway.
