Hello,
My laptop monitor was recently smashed when I fell on an ice patch. I tried hooking up my laptop (hp pavilion intel centrino window XP) to my stand alone monitors (hp pavilion vf15 and my old samtron 55E).
I hope to still use my laptop cpu at home with one of the monitors listed above. With the Samtron monitor, I can see the bootstring all the way to the windows xp booting.
Then, my laptop defaults back to its broken monitor leaving me without a view.
Please let me know if anyone can provide the keystrokes required to make my laptop default or switch to use of one of the external stand-alone monitors. I can not figure out the proper keystrokes since I can not see anything on the broken monitor.
I really appreciate any help you can provide.
