Hey everyone,
Recently I’ve been trying to play online games, however I’ve been getting ping spikes every 60 seconds. I know people say wireless isn’t good for gaming and I know that, I don’t mind the lag, but when I lose control of my character for a few seconds it almost always screws me up when it happens at the wrong time.
Am I right in saying that this so tighly periodical spike is caused by windows tendency to search or detect wireless networks every so often? Can someone tell me how to disable this so that after I have connected to my wireless network, windows stops searching for others?
Pros and cons would be great too. Sorry, I’m not too good with this kind of thing and any replies will be much appreciated.
