last year I fixed break pad, rotary, starter, engine hose, tires, etc… cost me about 3 grands… eating up my bank up so dilligently and rapidly… now, i’m hired at this ad agency in nyc and gotta go to work starting from the 13th, (besides I live in columbus, OH it’s about 10 hours drive) and my beloved caravan again… well, broke down… overheating, coolant leakage and what not.
I went to the autoshop today to find out what’s up with my car. I told them the anti-freeze suddenly leaked and engine overheated yesterday. they thought it was just a hose from radiator to engine… that was causing leakage… naw… they were wrong… after I test drived, I saw the gauage starting to spike up… and I drove only for a mile or so… I was like what the… didn’t they fix this thing? I came back to the autoshop and told them it is overheating again… they inspected the car again and told me it was the corrosion of the wire, that connects to the fan relay, that’s causing overheat… and they told me they can’t do anything about it. and gave me an address to another autoshop that does electrical wiring… my gosh… i don’t know how much would it cost. Frankly, it scares me… i’m living in a deep deep financial burden caused by 96 caravan. if the car goes bad by the time when I get to the city, I would just sell it on ebay for destruction enthusiasts… or I would personally tear it down.
I must say, I am totally through with american cars regardless or the brand.
If I have enough money to buy a car, I will never ever buy american cars…
Cuz I don’t wanna spend $20,000 just to fix the $30,000 car… it’s insane…
allright, wish me a good luck, i will find out how much would it cost tomorrow.
