Dodgy formatting

Hi, as you can see from the pic im have trouble with formatting. That is indeed a dynamic text scroller, but why do the texts have lines between them? like:

Welcome to the phoenix alpha

Website.

Should be

Welcome to the phoenix alpha
Website.

Please help!

A return in your txt file will do that. You can find this all over this forum - it helped me. Instead of a c return in your txt file use ‘%0d’ - it will register a true c return. Use this chart:

Tbh that condensewhite really is strange, couldnt figure it out meself! however:

This thing really made it easy, it works too! :smiley: All you do is type the words in the one side, encode, then copy and paste into your external text file. Works a charm

Huh ? condenseWhite didn’t work for you !? It worked like a charm for me ! Simply add _root.textbox.condenseWhite = true; somewhere and it’s done :thumb:

Hmm i deleted the old FLA and made a new one, which btw works using that link i said :slight_smile: Its great, but ppl dont forget to add <|BR><|BR> when you want a line skip:D | has been added to stop it skipping a line in this post :stuck_out_tongue:
