Hey, i’m thinking of getting the AVerMedia AVerTV USB2 because its inexpensive, connects to lots of stuff, very compact, nice design and sounds like it’s really good quailty.
i’m seen sample recordings taken with it such as this site: http://www.digit-life.com/articles2/aver-tv-usb20/aver-tv-usb20.html
But i don’t believe its that crappy and its very small. On the web site it says you can record up to 740 x 540 or something. Also running on USB2 i would believe it makes decent recordings.
SO if anyone has this device can you please tell me what you think of it. Also it would be cool if you gave me a screenshot of the maxium sized recording and maxium viewing. Please note the difference between recording and viewing.
Plus i wanted to know if the conversion / compression is done in the hardware of the device, or the hardware of the computer, or the software.
If you are a owner please give me some feedback and screenshots. If not it would be so nice if you could find a site with this information (video samples, screenshots).
Please note that this is the AverTV USB2 model Not the normal AverTV USB.
