I use a Mac at work, and I love it. I’ve been spoiled by the workflow, and Mac-only programs like Coda. Soon I’m going to be looking at doing a lot more work from home, though, which is kind of a problem because I have a 5 year old PC at home. It still works fine, and I can do pretty much everything on it that I can at work, it just isn’t nearly as efficient or awesome.
So basically I’ve been looking into getting a Macbook Pro for home use. I’m thinking Macbook Pro as opposed to an iMac or something, because I don’t really like the idea of having two desktops at home, and I’ve wanted a laptop for a while anyway. I know I can get a Wacom, a keyboard, and a bigger monitor for home use, but I wanted to hear from you guys how you feel about doing large quantities of work on a laptop. Is it a pain? Is it wonderful?
