Hi, I am looking for free downloads for flash sound fx, i am after, simple affects like beeps, that i can use for buttons, does anyone know of any good sites? Also I am new to flash, so i don’t know how i would attach these sound files to the buttons, i think that u go into the actions of the button and put a bit of code in, am i right, please tell me how sounds are linked with buttons. Thanks, i’d be grateful for any help!!

Find Sound FX - Type In What Sound You Want.
To add a sound to the button when the mouse moves over it :
- Double Click the button or rightclick - edit in place.
- Go to file > import to library > and import the sound you want.
- Press ctrl + l to bring up the library.
- Click the Over state keyframe of the button.
- Drag and drop the sound onto the canvas of that keyframe or
go to the properties panel, and select a sound from the drop
down.
To add a sound when the button is pressed, do steps 1 - 3. Step 4 will be the Down state instead of the over. And step 5.

Thanks for the help man, now i have another problem, i downloaded some sounds from flashkit, and i attached them to my buttons, they were working fine for a while, then all the sounds stop working, i don’t know why, do you know why this might be happening?
Umm…no idea at all. I NEVER had that problem. Well just remake the button and reimport the sounds I guess. Then, on each keyframe where theres a sound, select that keyframe, go to the properties panel, sync drop downmenu - Event.
