I am loving this very helpful board.
I have a problem myself; I am somewhat new to flash.
Here’s what I want to accomplish.
I want to create a “drag-n-drop” style interface. I would have a list of items on the side (chairs, desks, tables…etc) and have the user drag and drop it to the centre of the stage. I would like them to be able set up a a floorplan with the items on the side.
I am able to code the drag-n-drop actionscript on each item, but only if I have one of each item on the side. How am I able to have the items on the side “renew” so that they can drag more than one instance of the item to the centre, ie) they may want 4 chairs and 3 tables…etc?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
