Dreamweaver and Flash

Hi guys…

2 quick questions, I have noticed a few online sites that use flash menu bars to control html content perhaps created in dreamweaver.

Q.1) For example, I’d like to create a template in flash (simply to give me more artist control) and have an area (i.e a text box or movie clip) in which I can load either html pages that I’ve created or other sites from the web into, does this make sense, is it possible, and how is it done?

Q.2) Alternatively, if I created the background template using photoshop, and import it into dreamweaver (perhaps into a frame) how would I then go about adding the link text and web content on top of the imges so that the image is still visible (I know that sounds confusing…basicaly I want one background image to be visible behind multiple cells within a frame, so even if I add text to the cell, the image will still be visible behind it).

I would say I am an intermeddiate flash and dreamweaver user, altho I feel I have missed alot of the basics so perhaps this is easier than I think.

example of site with flash nav bar controlling html pages

I have attached a jpg template of the site I am trying to create, I know I could create it np in flash, which would be my prefered option but the client wants me to use flash to ensure it is accesabliy by all web users!!! Any help on best way to create on dreamweaver would be helpful.

Cheers guys.

(sorry for the epic…I need help)
