This is technically a Dreamweaver Question - but you guys are always here to help so I thought I’d throw it your way.
I’ve created a basic email form in Dreamweaver which my Flash page links to - the form takes a little data such as name/address etc… I’ve us Mailto: and the GET command. The form works just fine - however I’ve noticed that in order to send the email it uses you OS default mail program, e.g. when I use it it opens the send box for Outlook.
My problem is that the form does not work from computers without a pop3 email account, so it would not work from a library pc for example which I need it to…
I have a clue that I should be using some kind of CGI email client embedded in my site - but have no idea how to begin. My server supports CGI so it’s a possibility - or perhaps you know an easier way around this?
