DreamWeaver MX VS. Fronpage XP

I’m just starting to get a good understanding of the basics of web design with both standard HTML and Flash. I have seen some of the awesome sites that can be made with flash (like the Flat Earth Site, akospapp, Electrongeek, lostinbeta, etc… and ofcourse 2advanced!) and now I’m addicted to learning about flash, which is probably what I will build all my future sites with.

Now my Question is, at my skill level (beginner) with flash, and basically no knowledge of either frontpage xp or dreamweaver mx, which would you recommend I learn? I am not too terribly concerned with the differences in how easy they are to learn, I am more interested in which is a better, more powerful product?

The power of the program lies in the hands of the person who is using it. A person who is proficient with Dreamweaver is no more or less powerful than a person who is proficient with Frontpage. Similarily a person that can code HTML without any of these programs and just uses notepad could create a site that is just as good if not better than someone who uses DW or FP.

If you are planning on using Flash in the future I would suggest going with Dreamweaver. I use dreamweaver and I love it. And it was made by Macromedia with Flash and Fireworks and all of their other products in mind.

Cheers,
