Dreamweaver

how do you add background color to a page???

Go to Modify --> Page Properties. There should be an option there to colour the background or use a background image.

and is wat they call a document a webpage already?

or code it:thumb:

wat you mean “OR CODE IT”?

Use a [AS]<BODY BGCOLOUR = “#FFFFFF”>[/AS] tag inside your actual code.

And yes, a document is another term for web page.

lol back to basics, we will not tell what .css is otherwise he gets crazy ! :stuck_out_tongue:

using either Internet exlporer or Netscape browse the web, and look at the beginning source code of an html page… it should read what Kit pointed out… (that value can be replaced by an image, which will be tiled)

unless you set the position not to tile with .css…just had to throw that in…

or set it to a variable thats stored in a database and allow users to change it to their liking! yay!

lol :stuck_out_tongue:

yeah, confuse the new ppl… you bastards! :stuck_out_tongue:

hay … what is [ CSS ] ??

Cascading Style Sheets.

if you are using DW the help files are excellent I would suggest going thru the tuts and stuff in there. Also grab you a html book. html is a fun language and DW makes it real easy.

yeah HTML is prob one of the most useful langs too, and its sooo easy, litterally, you can learn it as fast as you can read. and once you know HTML you can go to diff stuff like PHP and JS, its just like once you know that everything else makes sense more. its kinda cool, deff try to learn it

thank you all 4 ur replys… (new 2 flash & dreamweaver)
