I followed Kirupa’s Drop-Down Menu tutorial http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/dropdownmenu.htm and I’m obviously doing something stupid because it’s not working. It worked fine when I followed the tutorial with the partial source file but now that I’m creating my own I’m having difficulties. For some reason when I put a stop command in the actions layer on the first frame in my menu movie, it makes it so the drop-down menu doesn’t show up at all when I roll over the button. If I remove this from the first frame, the drop-down works but then it doesn’t close. I’ve gone through all the steps over again multiple times and can’t figure out what the problem is. It’s probably something really stupid that i’m missing.
If someone would be so kind as to look at my file and tell me what I’m doing wrong I would really appreciate it!
