Drop Down Menus

hello there,

I’m relatively new to flash mx, and currently I’m planning on making a website with menus on the left side. What I was planning is that when the page loads up the user will see say, News, Divisions, Downloads, Contact …Now the part that I’m trying to achieve is that when the user moves the mouse over at any of these options, the menu expands and shows the submenu for that specific menu option…when the user moves the mouse off the menu or selects the other menu option the previous menu closes and so forth…I’ve looked at the tutorial on kirupa and other sites, and will be attempting to achieve this…The tutorials were simple single menu options…but I’m just wondering how am I gonna go about doing this with multiple options…

Can someone give me a lead as to how I should approach this …what should I take into consideration adn such.

try searching at flashkit.com , there is a lot of such menus. i personally found many.

and as for different buttons, i think i would just add the same MC over and over to get the required menu.

it doesnt matter what version. if ur using MX, it automatically converts the file if it was an old flash version.
