Drop shadows on content

I’m trying to make a drop shadow border that fits around content (text and images) like the site unmatched style. I;ve studdied the sites xhtml and css but I can understand what the images I need would be. Can anyone help me out. I;ve already tried the tutorial on alist aprt but it didnt work.
