Dumb Question - Changing Color of MC Instant on Stage

I feel stupid even asking but . . . .
I have a mc symbol in my library which I have dragged to the stage & given an instance name. I actually dragged several of this same symbol to the stage. How do I change the color of each one so I may have x amount of the same symbol all in different colors.

hey stealth, you can drag all the instances on to the stage, then double click your keyframe and in the effect panel go for the advanced tab. Play around with each individual instance, you should be able to come up with quite a few colours…
