Hello, my dvd writing drive is a BENQ which reads as “atapi dvd dual 8x4x12” when i check it in my Systems–>Device Manager or when I right-click the drive and check the properties. It can burn CDs no problem, and can also read dvd’s just fine.
My problem is, when / if I add a blank dvd (I’ve tried different brands, Dynex and Memorex), my computer (Win XP) and software (Nero 6 and Alcohol 120%) think it’s empty, therefore preventing me from burning files. But a blank dvd was actually there!
Could anyone help with that?
