Dynamic buttons with sound

What is wrong with this??
I’m trying to load sounds to my dynamic buttons but I don’t know how to fix it!!
I don’t know if it is possible to do such a thing in Flash either! I’m new … :frowning:

Hi!
I’m working with a language learning project.
It is a lot of word because of that I have to use actionscript possibilities, but I’m very new!!

description:
I want to make a program that look like something like this image:

When users click a wordcategory at the top for example animals, the program should list all the words(10-15 words) in the left section. The user can now click on any words in the left or in the main section(the images) and listen to their sound.
Thus both the words and images should have sounds.

I can do the images as buttons (a lot of buttons!!) so that the users can click at them and listen to them. I don’t know if there is a better way??!!
I thought that the left section must be dynamic and load the sounds external to avoid adding sound to hundreds of buttons!!

I thought even if there is possibility (in Flash) to draw a line (or something like that) between the image and the word and vice versa, to show the user which specific word he/she just clicked at!!

you can draw a line in Flash using the drawing API… quite easy…

I still dont get why u need dynamic sounds to load into buttons… if u were duplicating buttons and then loading dynamic names and everything then it would make sense but if u already have the buttons made… why dont u just put the sounds in em…?

maybe it’s wrong to say ‘dynamic sounds’, I mean duplicating the buttons with dynamic names and different sounds to each of the buttons.
I don’t know how to put the sounds to the dublicated buttons!! That’s the problem!!
Do u know and sample .fla that can help me plz??
