Question, I’ve done the basic handwriting, longwinded delete frame by frame, to make it look like handwriting.
I’ve also done a whole bunch of them and randomly loaded them onto a post-it-note background to make it look like a randomly scripted post-it-note (took forever!)
My question is this.
Is it possible to have a user enter a phrase/sentence/word into a text box and that then translated into the handwriting??
I’m thinking you could maybe do a movie for each of the letters of the alphabet.
Then somehow (this is where I’m getting vague) breakdown the input letter by letter and spit that out onto the main flash movie.
How you do that I’m a bit clueless, assign a value to each individual letter movie?!?
I had a good hunt round as I assumed someone had already done it but noone seems to of. If anyone has a pointer be very grateful.
[edit] In fact, forget the animation… is it just possible to input some text into a text box and spit that out in a handwritey type font (scriptina or something) onto a background? Isn’t that very simple??
