Hello all. It’s been a while since I’ve been here but I’m looking for some help with Flash. I’m exporting to Flash player 7 so I figured I should post it here.
Also please note that I did search very many places before resorting to creating a thread in these forums. I can’t seem to find the information that I am looking for.
Anyways, what I want to do should be extremely simple but I can’t figure it out so it’s pissing me off.
I have dynamic text loaded into my flash file using JavaScript (I might change the method of setting the textfield variables but for now this works).
Anyways, the text loads perfectly when it’s a normal, multi-line text field. Works great. But what I am trying to do is transform the text field. I simply want to rotate it on the flash file rather than have it straight up and down in a perfect box.
Anyone know how to do this? I also have problems animating dynamically loaded text. I thought I’d be able to just set a variable in flash and do whatever I want with it. What am I doing wrong?
