I need to have a scrolling box that has both Static and Dynamic Text.
The dynamic text variables are coming off of a text file, so I cant just have the text put directly into the scroll box.
Basically, I need to have a series of normal text boxes and dynamic text boxes in one area that can be scrolled so that all of the information may be seen.

Well I had faced similar kind of problem but what i did was I have kept my dynamic as well as static text into one MC. But in my case since i was aware how much was the width and height of the area in whcih i have to display the text, I have masked that much area on the stage.
And given a scroll to my MC. I know there must be some other way but this is just a thought for u which worked well for me :p:
