Effect correction please

okay, I have been trying to learn this effect for a couple of days.
i found the web site that has the effect in their intro. This is the effect that i am looking at. In the beginning of their intro a machine gun comes out and then the soldier pointing the gun and then the army vest. All of them do the same effect before they appear prefect. They turn white and then it turns into the image.

This is what i did. I got an image from that image i made it all white,so I have Original Image + Image filled in all white.

I inserted a key frame with the with image and then a blank key frame and another key frame so that it looks like its flickering. Next I make the last key frame turn clear. The problem is that it not going so smooth and it is really slow.

Can you tell me if I am doing it right or can you help me in any way please!!

First of all, try increasing the frame rate. This will make your movie run more frame per second, so you should notice it going faster.

If that doesn’t help, post your .fla up so I can have a look at it. :slight_smile:

yeah i would up your frame rate like kit said, make sure you keep it between 25-35 , higher would make slower computers lag. :smirk:

:::about the effect with the image being all white, iam pretty sure you could use a tint effect on your pic to get that effect.

to make it easier on you , you can just use one image and apply a tint effect tween on it
