I’ve been a lurker around here and never made a post, but this time I really need help and can’t seem to find a solution anywhere.
In a website I am working on, I embeded the typeface used for the entire website. It is embeded through the text field’s embed font option, though I have initially place the font into the Library, so the text fields all uses the font with the name “main” as I made it so in the library.
Now the problem is that I have a preloader on the site, but nothing ever shows up in the beginning when it’s supposed to be showing the preloader. When the preloader shows up the preloading is almost done. I am thinking that this is the problem with embeding the fonts, that the flash movie loads the font in the 1st frame, which makes the preloader show after the embeded font is loaded. However, the embeded font is not used in the preloader or anywhere before the preloader is showing. It’s getting crazy and I have no idea if there is a way to solve this. Please help me out!!!
