ok I understand if you want to embedd a font you choose the character button and choose all characters… but I am using a pixel font size=8 and when i choose the embedd it makes it real blurry???
when i dont choose the embedd it looks fine.
anyone know why this is?? and how I can embedd a font without this problem?
Possible Problem 1:
It could be that you are using a Photoshop pixel font and not a Flash pixel font. The difference is that Photoshop pixel fonts don’t always fall on exact pixels, this is REQUIRED for pixel fonts to work in Flash.
Solution to Possible Problem 1:
Download a Flash pixel font.
Possible Problem 2:
Your textbox coordinates don’t fall on exact pixels.
Solution to Possible Problem 2:
Click on your text box, then open the properties panel (CTRL+F3) and in the X and Y textboxes make sure those numbers are not decimal numbers (aka are at 90.0)
Or you could also go to View/Snap To Pixel, then grab the one of the corners of the textbox and drag it a bit so that it snaps to exact pixel positions. Then you can use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move the font around.
Possible Problem 3:
You are using Centered or Justified text aligment (not sure how it works with Right alignment)
Solution to Possible Problem 3:
Don’t center or justify your text. It throws off the exact pixel positions. I believe if your textbox is a certain width (NOT set in the properties panel, but by double clicking and dragging the handle to change the size) then it might work, not sure.
