Thanks buddy. I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with. As you can see from the stock image I used of the city. Just some layer effects and color really created a cool explosion.

You know that we link the PSD files under each volley right? Did you download it and see how the frame is created?

I’m not sure if mansour is talking about the same one that I did earlier.
I downloaded unflux’s round 5 (“legend of hangman’s tree”). The topmost layer contains the pattern that’s on the frame. Not much to see from the psd about how that was created though.
So if anyone knows and cares to share it… please do!
Hey Flashmatazz you can either make a pattern like that or dl it from the internet. Then you can overlay it on the frame part to make it seem like it’s there. Hope this helps.
But when I look at unflux’s frame it looks like on the left and right part of the frame the pattern is oriented vertically and on the top and bottom part it’s oriented horizontally. Or is that just me 
Or if I would want to achieve that would I just make a frame out of 2 parts (left/right and top/bottom)?
I hope I’m making sense here… if not please let me know.

Do you know how many times that’s all I ever did to a piece to the effect I was looking for? sometimes the easy solution is best, and we never try it. but of course…there’s all the other times where it’s just impossible to do anything right.
