i saw a post recently (b4 i registered in the forums) about the scroll bar on <a href=http://www.exopolis.com>www.exopolis.com</a>
then, i didnt have access to the reply, but now that i do, i just cant find the thread. is there a way to help? or can anyone tell me how that coooooooool liquid effect was done with the scroll bar on their news page?

I have myself been trying to figure this one out with not much luck … as you can see there is a on press function if you just press but dont scroll you can see the effect just at the two ends of the bar … and it almost seems to have properties
much like a mouse trail how it leaves duplicate movieclips as it scrolls … oh well
all I can say is it is one of the most impressive little details on any site I have seen so far …
we need a flash hero to help us out on this one … or even just a push in the right direction …

(and here is my unanswered post on this same subject!)
it seems that there would be a buble… a circle movie clip that when played it shrinks (is that the word?)
And you have on press… a start drag of the scrollbar and maybe an onEnterFrame for the scrollbar or bubles… with a gotoAndPlay(“fade_bubble”) whenever is a hit test between any bubble and the scrollbar.
Did I made myself clear? Excuse my english.
