Seeking:
An experienced, fast and efficient programmer to work on the game programmed in Flash (AS3) and SmartFox Server 2. Programmer should already be passionate about games and game development. Ideally looking for someone who is looking to get into the game development industry.

[]Understand and develop Flex Modules
[]Program various game Modules from start to finish
[]Work with me (also programmer) to connect Modules to the shell
[]Design Modules to communicate with the server via the shell using data-efficient messages (binary)
[]Understand PureMVC and/or Robotlegs and design Modules using said technologies
[]Have a strong understanding of English and good communication skills
[]Dedicate at least 7 hours per day, 4 days per week and provide frequent updates

[/LIST]Existing Assets:
The game so far has a working shell & some server-side code, an existing custom blitting engine and a working Module for building structures.
You will be provided with code necessary to develop your own Modules but will not have access to the Shell source code.
You will also be provided with a detailed brief at the start of each Module development cycle. You will be expected to stick to these briefs and follow their requirements exactly.
Graphics & animations have already been created and you will be required to integrate these with the existing blitting engine.
Project Timescales:
The project will be split up into individual projects for each Module. The total length of employment will be 4 months. At this point, the game must be playable and at a stage that is ready for public release.
In total you will be required to develop 7 Modules of varying complexity and size.
Once the game has been launched, there are big opportunities for long-term employment developing this game further and also developing other games.

The maximum salary I can offer is $25/hr but any applicants asking for this should have a strong portfolio, meet all requirements listed above, and provide fast results.
Please also consider the long-term opportunities that this project will bring. Once the game launches you will receive a salary increase relative to the game’s success.
