Okay, so last night i was sitting at my computer when i heard this fairly loud exploding noise, kind of like a fire cracker…It sounded like it came from inside my computer, i was like WTF!!! So i opened the case to look around, but to my supprise there was nothing wrong, nothing had an odd scent, everything seemed to be alright, but I kept hearing this weird/annoying ticking sound…
Then, Earlier today, my mouse batteries died while i was playing a game…So i bought new batteries…When i took the battery cover off of my mouse this weird liquid stuff was all over it, and more was leaking from inside…i was super confused…then when i pulled out the batteries, i heard that annoying ticking sound again. The flat side of the battery was half off, acid or something was leaking out, and the battery was making that tikcking noise…
Has anyone else ever had something like this happen to them? :h:

I was moving house a few years back and put a battery in my pocket. It stayed there for most of the afternoon until while I was sitting in the cab of the ute while driving I felt a burning sensation on my leg roughly where my pockets is. Thought nothing of it till it became unbearable. Got my *** off the seat, reached into my pocket and pulled out the battery to see it swollen and hot as hell!!! It had rested on my keys and was shorting itself. I then read the instructions on the battery which say DO NOT PLACE BATTERY IN YOUR POCKET!
Sort of off topic. There was a guy who tried to sue a computer company cause he used his laptop naked and it burnt his legs where it was resting. … people are silly. He’s lucky it’s only his legs it burnt.
I don’t know about batteries exploding, but did you know that you can freeze a can of shaving cream, cut it in half, stick it in someones car, and they’ll be pretty pissed?

it has nothing to do with this but
put a battry in a cup of water. then a patto with thooth pics out the sides and have to sit on top. in about 3 days the inside of the pattto well be mush liqude and it well smell nastyer then anything!
My science teacher said he did something similar, except it was a 9v battery and a penny at home.
I heard a while back (don’t know if it’s true or not) that there was an explosion at an appartment where they used an incinerator with their garbage shute. Surely you can guess the rest.
And for those that can’t, someone put some batteries in the shute, which were then tossed into the incinerator with everything else, and BANG!
