I just finished a banner that acts as a sort of a slideshow, and it extract image paths and links from a separate xml file. Then when i try and publish this as a gif file in case the user doesn’t have flash player installed when browsing the site, the banner.gif appears to be blank. The banner works fine on the web browser but not the gif. I actionscripted everything therefore other than the layers, theres nothing on the timeline pass frame 1. Is that the reason that the exported gif file doesn’t work? I tried exporting as movie/image, quicktime and all but it doesn’t work.
