I’m having trouble exporting XML from Excel 2007.
I just have a simple list with headers which I make into a table (so that each column can be sorted).
Then I want to export the list into an XML file.
I go to the Developers tab in Excel 2007, Click on Source, Click on the XML maps… button on the pane, add in my XSD file I created, map the headers to the column headers in the table by dragging them over onto the column headers.
And it seems to be good until I hit the Export button on the Developers tab. Then I get the error message: “Cannot save or export XML data. The XML maps in this workbook are not exportable.”
Please help!
