Hi, I have data in several sheets in an Excel file. I want to export the data in each sheet into its own XML (so 1 XML file per sheet). I have the 2003 XML plugin for my Excel 2007 and the first sheet mapped and exported just fine. Now I’m working on the second sheet, and I’m having a bizarre problem:
If I map the ‘Name’ element in XML to the ‘Name’ column in Excel, it will export just fine.
BUT…
If I map the ‘Name’ element in XML to the ‘Name’ column in Excel
AND I map the ‘Phone’ element in XML to the ‘Phone’ element in Excel,
and then try to export, it gives me this error:
[FONT=Courier New]“The XML map corresponding to the active cell is not exportable. Please select another map.”[/FONT]
And then it brings up a box with only the FIRST XML mapping for the FIRST sheet. But I want to export the SECOND sheet into a DIFFERENT XML.
Is there an answer to this?
