Express install is not supported by this version of flash player

Hi there,

message: “express install is not supported by this version of flash player. To upgrade, please visit: Flash Player Download Center”

  1. i get the above message from expressinstall autoUpdater.swf

  2. using swfobject 2.1

  3. using Firefox 3 with Flash Switcher plugin

  4. running this example:

(and also running my webpage) gives same message (above).

  • it says “Your Player Version: WIN 7,0,63,0”
  • which is above the minimum (v6.0.65) necessary to run Express Install.

  1. the detection passes when the flashplayer is above the minimum set in the SWFObject, and the website runs correctly (obviously), but that means expressinstall is unusable

QUESTION: how to fix this to be able to use express install correctly?
