hi,
i have used the tutorial http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/transitions.htm for all my coding etc… and it works fine when set up like in the tutorial. my problem is that the buttons used to change the external movie clips are within mc’s themselves and don’t work with the same code. im still a beginner in as so all i could think of was changing _root.currMovie to _global.currMovie but that made it worse. does anyone know some codeing that will work with buttons within an mc? to get an idea of the problem download the example from the above tutorial and then select the buttons and put them in an mc. in my movie though the external clips dont even play.
also can anyone point me in the direction of a common preloader tutorial where multiple movies share the same preloader.
