I am building a site thats based on some really organic illustrations. Its in essence a very simple site, certainly content wise.
What I would like to do is add a really organic feel to using the site. So when navigating the transitions between the pages/illustrations give the impressoin of plants / leaves growing and spreading and shrinking and vanishing.
I’ve been messing around with it for ages, mainly using frame by frame drawn masks. I can create my desired effect pretty well like this but file size then becomes an issue. The vector illustrations on their own are only about 15/20 k. But, with an “in” animation and an “out” animation file size leaps top 100 k ++

Can anyone think of a good way around this? Or a better way altogether to do this? Any input as ever much apprecited.
