Fading

I want to fade a object to nothing and make it dissaper with flash MX. Can somone please tell me what to do. Thanks:rock:

PS also on my characters im using they have white square boxes around them no mater what I do in Photo Shop it wont go away. Please somone help me.

Well, get the object, press F8, to convert it to a Movie clip, then create a motion tween, set the beginning to alpha 100% then to 0 %.

you can also do it in actionscript.

Try saving them as .png maybe?
