Falling snow tutorial related question

hi,

iv been messing about making myself a new portfolio, and i was lookin to use the falling snow affect i seen in a tutorial on this site.

I can get this working fine, so no problems there, however is there anyway to alter the effect so that it doesnt always be on top of the other content.
