Hey guys, I need to ask a very quick favor. It shouldn’t take you more than a minute or two in photoshop. I have a stock photo that I am going to print off and use as the background of a coataliff (it’s basically a transperency of a picture that I took), and the assignment is to put interesting things in the background. I know exactly what I want, and I have the stock photo. The only problem is that the photo doesn’t blend into the white background of the paper on the left side. The only problem is that I don’t have any way of doing this from school. The only image editor that i have is MS Paint.
What I need is for someone to just put a mask over the entire picture, with a decreasing opacity on the left side (just from about halfway between the edge of the eye and the start of the eyebrow to the left edge of the picture). This can be easily done with a simple linear gradient in the mask layer.
I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
The stock photo can be found at:
(still looking, I’ll edit in a minute)
This computer isnt letting me look, so if you would be so kind, can you also help me find it? (I know, I’m asking a lot, sorry). It is a white backgroud with a closup of an eye. The iris is BRIGHT green, no doubt digitally edited. It was on www.sxc.hu under the people closeups. It is grayscale except for the iris, and around the eye has been edited out to look white. I think the name was something similar to “chris’s eye”. Thanks again.
Thanks again
