Favorite Magazines

Hey everyone,
I was browsing through some of the magazines I was subscribed to a few days ago, and I noticed, that the few magazines that I like, I have been reading for at least 3 or 4 years now.

So just out of curiosity, which magazines do you all happen to like? Also please keep the magazines appropriate for all audiences

Cheers!

Well - my all time favorite would have to be Wired. In my opinion it is the ultimate magazine for keeping tabs on the geek people, geek products, and the geek lifestyle :stuck_out_tongue:

I used to be subscribed to Guitar World for a year or two.

Once I got four simultaneous free subscriptions because of some airline program I was a part of. Other than that I really don’t have a particular favorite.

(magazines) Newscientist
(magazines) Popular Mechanics

There about the only 2 I read from time to time, the net has all the latest information I need. So I visit daily:

(web) Newscientist
(web) Cnet
(web) CNN
(web) Wired
(web) Shortnews
(web) Mega games
(web) Janes

Sports Illustrated and Golf Digest

I used to be subscribed to PcWorld, PC Magazine, and PC Computing. I later realized that all of the things can be found by simply browsing the net for a few mins. I think PC Magazine and PC Computing still exist under a different name, etc. One of them is Smart Business or something…not sure

Maxim and Time magazine, however I think I’m gonna cancel maxim 'cause I end up giving them away without reading them.

Maxim
PC World
ESPN the Magazine

well i use to get “Design Graphics” monthly , subscription finished. i get a mag called “desktop” its a australian mag.

Also would love to get a uk mag, called “Computer arts”. and “3d world”. but cant seem to get a subsciption in australia, the only way is to get it each month at the newsagency, and it cost something like $20 -$25 AUS bucks a mag. too much in my opinion. quality mags though.

“Computer arts” ha ha…

I have 2 issues of that sitting right next to me, my g/f is a graphic designer and buys them. Along with “Design Graphics” & “desktop”… It annoys me that they charge so much for them, I guess they expect design firms to buy them cause they can afford them.

ESPN the Magazine

Sports Illustrated

I don’t read magazines often. … actually I haven’t bought a magazine (since last week) in over 3 years. i cant stand reading.

but anyways, I bought GQ 2 weeks ago

I have been reading Wired for years, probably around three.

I recently picked up a subscription to Business 2.0. There is some good stuff in there about the future of **** near everything.

How (design)
Communication Arts (design)
Dwell (architecture)
Wired (we all know this one ;))
National Geographic

Bamb, word on the design mags costing so bloody much!

I used to have:

Popular Mechanics
Popular Science
Men’s Health

Computer Arts (subscribed for at least 2 years -50% off…!)
Else, no mags, just Flash books…

Details (Favorite)
