File cannot be created

In the process of saving a new page to my site I received
this message: “Unexpected error occurred. Not enough
memory available to complete operation. Close other
programs to make memory available, then try again.”

After naming the page and title I hit save and I received
this message; “The directory or file cannot be created”.

I have only used 12 MB of space so far. Please help.

I transport my web on a 128MB compact flash card and have
tried it on both my laptop and desktop. Everything was
working fine until today.

PLEASE HELP!

what web design program are you using to create the site?

I’m using Frontpage 2002. Hope you can help. Thanks

where are you saving the file to? and how much space is left where you are saving it to.

I have been building my site using my laptop and a 128 MB compact flash card, E dirve. I back up my work by publishing it to the C drive. I receive the same messages whether I’m working off of C or E. I installed memory in my laptop to 512 RAM and it has a 30gig hard drive, XP home.
Today I published my site to my desktop (512 RAM, 30gig, windows ME) and it seems to work ok. It is letting me save new pages.
When I check the properties of the E or C drives of the entire web it shows 538 files, 3 folders, 8933KB. But when I ck the drives in windows explorer it shows 1094 files, 11 folders, size-9.7MB, size on disk-11.2MB. (whatever that means)
I just wanted to give you as much info as i could, so you could help. Thanks again
