Hey guys, i’ve just finished my first music video for a band called Big Face. they’re debut single (i wanna be a style crusader) is getting released on Kitsune on the 26th of November.
as noted in the title the video took 4 months, 3 months of planning, printing, pulling in favours, etc. then 2 weeks of production, 9 days of which were spent in a pretty mankey squat in east london (in a tent…) working 20 hour days. it was directed and produced by myself and my design partner Tim brown on the tinyest of bugets (pulled in alot of favours).
i know this should prolly go into the Showcase & Critiques section but the reason i’m posting it here is it’s not web related (appart from it’s on youtube) and to try and get as many people to see it and hopefully pass it on to friends, etc. if anyone knows any music bloggers or online journalists that would maybe want write a review of the single or video that would also be very much appreciated.
there’s virtually no CG in this video, basically the whole thing was done by hand using laborius stop frame, sometimes 30 mins setup between each frame.
anyway hope you enjoy it. we’re pretty happy with it.
