Finishing the Drop Down Menu

Ok i need help … i looked at that tutorial, and it has an alpha’d box around the edges of the drop down menu sayign on(rollOver) { gotoAndStop whatever i have this inside an MC so i have my code like this

on(rollOver){
_root.gotoAndStop(“home”);
}

if somone could PLEASE msg me i will send the fla i really need help… also the board mc is on the BG layer to the right of the canvas… if you want to go inside the mc… and also the rollOver and rollOut doesnt work on the boards button (thats the button that has the drop down menu) but if i move the alpha’d mc it wokrs… any ideas

the button i want to have drop down is “board” and the mc for the board drop down is on the bg layer to the right of the canvas, its a lil movie clip pleeeease help!!
