Recently I’ve been using fireworks to export all my jpegs for the web since it exports muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch better than photoshop… the only problem is I REALLY like photoshops crop tool. You can set the crop tool to constrain to a certain dimension, say 118 x 80, and then no matter how big of a selection you make it will keep it the right proportion and then resize it down to 118 x 80. Kind of hard to explain but I’m sure you all know what I mean. My question would be is there any way to do this in fireworks, or do you have to do it the old fashioned way?
