Tell me about it. I’ve just got back from work and am soaked through. It’s a 10 minute walk from the station to my house and I’m drenched. I need hot towels, food and something to watch on TV.
That is why I moved from Oregon… 9 months of rain/yr… and not all together. You could get a break from the rain with a little drizzle, or overcast… There is an old saying up north:
If you can see the mountains from here, it’s going to rain. If you can’t see the mountains, it is raining…

In the town where I graduated High School (18), there was only one day in recorded history that it hadn’t rained… July 12…
So, If you wanted to organize any outdoor event, you scheduled it for July 12. That way, if it did rain, you could say it was the first time in recorded history…
