This may be a stupid question but…
Is it common practice to give your clients the finished FLA with your projects?
I do not do much flash work so I am unsure of the legitimacy of the clients request and proper etiquette of handing over files.
From the designers stand point I like the protection of keeping the Fla so it will not be farmed out (ie: intellectual property stuff /although i probably couldn’t do anything without my hours of searching the Kirupa forum ; )…
On the other hand I do not want to be a **** to a paying client and think it is fair for the client to have this as it is a free market society and all… though i would hate to lose one…
