Flames in 3D Max

Heyas. I searched on google for this and I was directed to a site which showed how to make a rocket flame with particles. I followed the tutorials but it came to a bit where it asked to open the Video Post window. I did so, and then I was required to do this:

In the RENDERING menu choose VIDEO POST. Click ADD SCENE EVENT. Under VIEW choose PERSPECTIVE. (Optional: Check MOTION BLUR) and hit OK.

Now you will add the glow effect. To do this, click the ADD IMAGE FILTER EVENT button. Pick Animated Glow from the drop down list. Click on SETTINGS and set the MATERIAL EFFECTS CHANNEL to 1, under COLOR check the user button and change the color to yellow. Then set the Min. Size to 24 and the Max to 26

Now I’m using the demo version of 3d Max 6 and I couldn’t find animated glow in the dropdown box I could see, there were only options like Lens flare Glow and Pseudo Alpha. Is this option only available in the full version or am I missing something?

I’m trying to create a flame to come out of a car exhaust but this was the closest thing I could find. Tutorial is here.
