Flash and broadcasting, a help is badly needed

Hi
Thank you for reading this email.
I have a question about how to import your Flash [*.swf] to video for broadcasting purpose.
I have a client who wants to put some of their Flash works in TV commercial.
I would be very greatly appreciate if you can reply my email.

Thank you very much

oh I’m sorry , btw my email is email@ivankandi.com
thanks

do you mean import of export?

Hi Alex… I mean export it.

Thanks

ok so you made a advertisement or what ever you made right?

Now what you want to do is go to

  1. File
    2.Save
  2. you want to save the movie as something you wont forget and some place you will remember on your computer

4.File
5. export Movie
6. Export it as something you will remember where it is.

For the next step you will need a host

Ex. tripod

you will need a host to upload you movie to

Hope this helps:)

First:
… export as a Quick Time .mov file. You do this from within by making alterations from within the Publish Settings. Apparently you can export by changing the publish setting as avi. compressed format with this option.

Second:
You are going to need a video editing program like Adobe Premiere 6.5 that has either a plugin that enables you to edit the above exported file or can do it itself. Adobe Premiere is the costly way at around $500+ but gives you total power. Overwise there are much cheaper alternatives to edit your exported file. You could download their trail version for your project.

Third:
You’ll obviously need to rig up a video, or whatever, to your computer and sort the setting with in the video editing program then run. Presto, you can record you swf files now.

I’m not up to scratch but have looked into this before.

Here’s the best link that I find the most usful for this process. It will take you step by step through the process:

How do I prepare my Flash files for TV?

Good luck

Make sure you read this bit too:

How do I get my files on tape?

You’ll need a video output board or get a service bureau to put your work onto video. For broadcast quality boards they retail at around $300 to thousands but if it is just to show our freinds on tv you can get a low end board real cheap.
