Flash+asp

Hi there!!!
i am trying to interact flash + asp, the asp and flash codes works fine, only one problem that is driving me crazy!!!
in My asp file the code just send the variables with the records in the database to flash, the problem is that in my language(Portuguese) we have some words like " cão" = “dog” in english so the “ã” in flash appears like onther caracter!!!
Please if anyone nows the solution to these problems please!!!

That depends on two things:

  1. Language version of the Microsoft Access Database (assuming that’s what you’re using).
  2. Available fonts in Flash.

Make sure that the program you’re using to build the DB supports Portuguesian, and so does Flash.

the database is msaccess 2000 is portuguese
the font is arial
the flash version is also portuguese

Well it should work then, unless you can’t write portuguese with Arial…
