i am doing a flash site that works asp, when the asp file sends the variables to flash, flash recieve them and in some words like “cão”(in portuguese), flash subsitutes the letter “ã” by some caracter.
Maybe this explain a part of the solution:
if i write the same the word “cão” in a .txt file and save it as UFT-8 that is the unicode languange for the fonts, flash dysplays the word correctly , but if i save the .txt file as ANSI, flash returns de word like i said in the problem above, i try to use device fonts, embedd fonts but i still doesnt work!!!
Is there a away to solve the problem in flash or in the ASP language(maybe convert the variables in the asp file to unicode)
