Hi all, I’m new to flash and action script.
I’m looking at flash to make my Access database into a Flash front end.
I have looked around quite a bit and I can not answer the question:
Can flash map a control source and text (i’m sure they are not the right terms) to a combo box?
(from a PHP script)
ie, from a table can the combo box use StationID and display StationName? from a station table?
I am following tutorials at the moment but none of them seem to touch on this.
Mind leading me in the right direction?
afterthought. I’m sure If flash doesn’t do this that I could have 2 combo box’s with the same record but different fields, when one updates, it changes the index on the other. this should work but I don’t know enough about flash as yet.
but still, having the ID and the name in the same combo box as text and control would be great. I have asked this same question on another forum, and no one has answered so I am asking it here.
